“Oh squiggly line in my eye fluid.
I see you lurking there on the periphery of my vision.
But when I try to look at you, you scurry away.
Are you shy, squiggly line?
Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the center of my eye?
Oh, squiggly line,
it’s alright, you are forgiven.” —Family Guy: Stewie Griffin

Grass is much greener on the other side
After treading through the wet grass, I realized it was yet another metaphor for life.
You start your journey with the goal of reaching the other side. As you tread deeper into the grass, you realize how muddy the grass really is. During that time, mud and dirt start to cling to your shoes. By that time, the consideration of going back grows exponentially. Then again, you realize how ridonkulous that would be. You’d end up gong backwards and walking a longer walk. There is just no turning back at that point. When you reach the other side, you realize how silly going backwards seemed. Determined more than ever, having to reach the other side, you walk on looking forward to find out how far you will be able to walk.
“How you fall doesn’t matter. It’s how you land”
